Are you making the impact on your organisation that you want to?

It is a key challenge for the future leaders of the world to figure out how to best work within a team and with colleagues that they lack direct authority over in order to successfully deliver a project. Alongside successful delivery is often the desire to shape the direction and strategy of the IT & Technology department by having key stakeholders back your ideas. How can you successfully influence those around you with unique business vision and build your standing in your organisation?

The communication style and the way you interact with different personality traits hugely affects the way your influence is perceived by others and whether your idea falls on deaf ears or accepted with euphoria by your immediate team. After all, more often or not the greatest ability in any business is to get along with others and to influence their actions.

The workshop will include presentations, role play, interactive sessions, and senior technology leaders sharing their tips from their vast experience.

From this workshop, you will come away with some key, executable ideas to bring your influencing skills to the next level, and therefore be more successful in reaching your aims within your current and future roles.

Section 1 of Magda's presentation talks about how we can improve on our levels of influences via critical analysis undertaken when self-reflecting and how to inmprove our communication and impression on others


Section 2 of Magda's presentation explains how we can convey competence as well as explaining the element of 'fight or flight' in the workplace. Another key point spoken about is the SCARF model
